Has War Changed or How It Is Viewed?
The portrayal of warfare in cheat began as soon as man discovered the king to carve and draw lasting insures on cave walls and alike surfaces. The point of art portraying the different parts of war through the ages has potpourrid significantly. As the art stand bys newer and more modern, it goes from idealistic milling machinery worship and stratumtelling to thought provoking, political, and sometimes change surface therapeutic. The images transform from symbolic representations to literal ones. Most importantly the responses that the art is meant to provoke change from supportive to contradictory.
The older the art, the more symbolic the portrayal of the image fascinated by the artist. He tries to tell the audience a story through his brush or chisel. Centuries ago, before materials were available to the everyday person; the artist had to take more time to capture the image he wanted to show his audience. His canvas was literally handmade, or he had to go to a quarry and train the perfect piece of marble to carve his artwork. The image he was trying to represent would have been second or even third hand descriptions told to him by other persons that were present when he could not have been.



The artist in this time in like manner tended to capture the image of a particularly worthy hero, whether in contend or not, or a significant battle that was fantasized from stories he heard from a first persons accounts. The heroes look so noble, invincible, and clean. The battles never show the blood natural covering the landscape or the savage deaths of the soldiers that met their end with their participation. War in these images was portrayed as an honorable and noble cause. A majuscule example of this is a piece of art from about 1600 A.D. Japan. It shows a samurai standing astride his dying mount, his sword arcing through the transmit deflecting a dozen or so arrows that were shot at him.
