Hollis, (1964) one of the main contributors in forming of Psycho- social perspective, believed that the person should be seen in a holistic elan by combining Psychology, (depth psychology) and Sociological perceptive. She identified four processes: environmental modification; psychological support; clarification of external realties to the client; and insight giving, as this would enable the client to realise that factors from the ancient may influence current emotions.
