Reading Journal - The Crucible
The play is set in Salem, Massachusetts, 1692. The rumor that Betty is the victim of witchcraft is running fast in Salem, and a crowd has self-possessed in Parriss field of operations. crapper Proctor, a local farmer, enters Parris place to join the girls. Reverend unhurt is an intellectual man, and he has canvas witchcraft extensively and starts to scruple Abigail about the dancing in the forest, but Abigail maintains that the dancing was not connected to witchcraft. What I really disliked is how Abigail denies everything that she did. My burden of her is that she´s a hypocrite. I liked how big the graphic symbol of Betty was even though she didnt speak that much.
