The Indian Removal Act was a law signed by chairwoman Andrew capital of Mississippi in 1830 that magnated the removal of native Americans to priming coats due west of the Mississippi. It gave power to the President to remove all inborn Americans whose defeat was close to the territorial boundaries. The Removal Act was based upon treaties with those Native Americans, and it was based upon them cooperating with them. This was wrong of them, it was injustice. Andrew capital of Mississippi used brute force to remove these Native Nations against their will. This is why this Act is none agreeable.
Andrew Jackson claimed he was working in the best interests of the Native Americans and with the volume of southerners in favor of Indian Removal Act; Jackson was able to carry out, with little resistance, his own will towards the Native Americans. There 5 civilized tribes were, Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Seminole, and Chickasaw. The Indian Removal Act was a terrible injustice for leading to the slaughter of thousands of men, women, and children. They were marched to okeh in the dead of winter under horrific conditions. They slept on the ground without fires, they lacked blankets, shelter, food, and clothing, and disease of all kinds killed them.




The Cherokee buried 4000 of their people on the trip and about 15,000 Native Americans died, thats about a fourth of theyre population. They were forced to walk through the reverse and most of them were barefoot. Along the way most of the Indians adopted the livid settlers religion. The Natives Americans had no freedom, they were shackled hand and footmen, women, and children and were marched towards their destinations. By the Indian Removal Acts end they had lost more than 45% of their population.
