Prior companionship
My prior knowledge about Korean Americans was precise limited. I knew that many Koreans started approaching to America during the 20th century in search of granting immunity from communist North Korea. Their strong desire for free entrust caused them to leave their own country and comfort zone. Korean Americans confront many obstacles when they first came to the United States, but they were drawn to the many opportunities that would allow them to make a cleanse life for themselves and their families. approach shot to America enabled them to establish better financial stability than they previously possessed in Korea and the ability to support their family was important to them.

Education has always been very important to Koreans, and has only grown in significance since coming to America. Parents want their children to do well, desiring a better life for them than what they had growing up in Korea. It was a enceinte life living in Korea and they want their children to make the close to of the opportunities this country presents them with since everyone has freedom and can strive to succeed in their chosen fields.



I also knew that after World struggle II, the Korean War began, splitting Korea into two countries, North and southwestward Korea.

Coming to America
Koreans started immigrating to the United States in the early 1900s. onward they came to America, they lived in very small apartment type buildings which include rooms that served multiple functions. For example, the dining room would turn into the maitre dhotel bedroom at night in many homes. The homes were very small and money was scarce so they had to make do with what they were able to afford.
